Meeting 4/20 and Special Invitation 4/23

Hello Lakeland Writers! We have a regular meeting on Wednesday, April 20 (I can’t wait to see you all). Need a prompt: Write a character who is neither evil nor dangerous, but terrifying just the same.

We’ve also been invited to attend a Writers 4 All Seasons  workshop with special guest Rik Feeney. Rik is the author of several books including Writing Books for Fun, Fame & Fortune!, his latest book Editing Basics for Authors and Indie-Publishers!, the soon to be released Publishing for Penny Pinchers, as well as the upcoming memoir “What Are Little Boys Made of…?” Rik is a Book Coach, Book Cover Designer, and Publishing Consultant. He talks at writer’s conferences and seminars and is the leader of the Orlando Florida Writer’s Association group. Rik’s passion is helping authors effectively and successfully publish their books.

Writers 4 All Seasons will meet at 2:00pm on Saturday at the Pink Piano, 1015 Florida Ave S, Lakeland, FL 33803. A family style meal is available for $10.00 with RSVP. (If you have any food allergies or sensitivities email me at alison.nissen@aol.com)

If you need directions, check out their blog at Writers4AllSeasons@wordpress.com.

See you Wednesday!
